Rozalen and nine choral groups will sing on the steps of the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, at an event organized by Amnesty International (AI) that aims to “break the silence regarding the genocide” suffered by women, girls, and civilians in Gaza at the hands of Israel.
They will also express their condemnation of “gender apartheid” in Afghanistan, which women suffer.
Rozalen will be joined by the choirs Al Alba, Trovada, Vallekanta, La Horizontal, Sawabona, Cristobal de Morales, Carpe Diem, Coro de Lenguas, and the Madrid Press Association Choir, under the direction of Miguel del Castillo Garcia-Pablos.
The event, which will take place this Friday evening, will feature interventions by Afghan journalist Khadija Amin, Spanish-Palestinian activist Maria Faidi, and Esteban Beltran, director of Amnesty International in Spain.
