In a message posted on digital media addressed to his friends and followers, Adler acknowledged several obstacles facing the flotilla, particularly the complete disabling of the convoy’s flagship in the final hours and acts of harassment.
According to Adler, it is highly likely among the participants that the ship’s breakdown was not accidental and announces that measures are being taken to salvage the situation and move forward.
The activist describes the last 24 hours as an exhausting logistical process, with the crew of the damaged ship being reassigned to others to continue the journey.
Adler reveals in his message that Israel’s plans to intercept and transfer the flotilla members to a “floating prison” (likely a frigate) for further processing on land were announced.
He affirms that these actions are illegal, and will show the international community’s ability to be surprised or react to “Israel’s dishonest actions.”
