The executive noted that Cuban destinations offer families a pleasant stay, along with the array of activities and excursions they can enjoy at each selected location.
“Cuba boasts an inclusive and accessible sustainable tourism that attracts visitors from different latitudes and repeat visitors. A significant number of national travel agencies and hotel chains are at the fair, ready to promote all their tourism offerings,” the executive noted.
Recently, the island was recognized once again as the Best Cultural Destination in the Caribbean, “which compels us to continue showcasing our most important and unique values in the region, as it offers a wide range of tourism possibilities and offerings,” Alvarez noted.
“As has happened with the global tourism industry, the sector has experienced ups and downs, and we are in a process of transformation and recovery with ongoing interaction with our partners,” the executive asserted, assuring that the country has a combination of potential that “enriches the Cuban destination and makes Cuba unique.”
