The source informed that Li Qiang will lead a delegation from China’s Communist Party and Government.

The Foreign Ministry noted that China and the DPRK are neighboring countries with a traditional friendship and assured that Beijing maintains the consolidation and development of bilateral ties as its unwavering strategic policy.

It underscored that this trip represents an opportunity to intensify strategic communication, enhance cooperation, and boost friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

The Workers’ Party, founded in 1945, will mark its 80th anniversary with political and cultural events.

China and the DPRK have maintained diplomatic relations since 1949 and have consolidated their cooperation in multiple areas, including coordination on regional affairs.
