A report by Uruguayan journalist and director of the publication, Julio Cesar Debali, shows the benefits and beauty of the place, which he visited last September during his participation in Destino Gaviota 2025 exchange (September 14-20), where three thousand professionals from the sector participated.
The publication states that Cuba is Pure Nature, with unique and perfect places for adventure tourism. With lush vegetation and mountains that cut across the horizon, spaces close to the sun and beach tourist centers, it emphasizes.
The article states that Cuban authorities maintain a constant concern for the appropriate balance between environmental protection and the exploitation of protected areas in favor of nature and adventure tourism.
There are 211 identified protected areas in Cuba. Of these, four are nature reserves. The rest can be used for various types of tourism, from national parks to ecological reserves and wildlife refuges, among others.
