The National Police reported last night that Alexander Jimenez Galvan, 35, a resident of Santo Domingo Oeste, was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of inflicting injuries with a pellet gun on two citizens.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, and Jimenez Galvan was arrested shortly afterward thanks to the collaboration of university personnel.
During the incident, the detainee suffered blunt force trauma, including a head wound, and was taken to a health center under police custody.
Authorities indicated that, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, they are investigating the circumstances of the incident, the origin of the conflict, and the possible involvement of third parties.
The case is being handled by the National Police’s Department of Investigation of Crimes and Offenses Against Property (Homicides).
