The high-ranking official chaired a meeting of the Russian government with the organizing committee of the tourism event, which was also attended by representatives of federal government agencies, the Moscow government, relevant organizations, and development institutions.
Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the President of Russia and executive secretary of the Organizing Committee of the “Travel!” International Tourism Forum, and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Vakhrukov presented reports on the forum’s results and plans for the 2026 edition. Next year, the forum will be held for the sixth time, with the main objective of showcasing the tourism potential of all Russian regions, the variety of leisure activities available, and developing special offers for residents.
Through a government decree, the forum obtained international status this year. The invitation campaign has begun. In addition to representatives from 89 Russian regions, the participation of foreign delegations is expected, Chernyshenko stated.
The “Travel!” International Tourism Forum remains a key platform for discussing strategic issues in the development of tourism and hospitality, combining business programs, exhibitions, and festivals, and promoting the tourism potential of Russia’s regions both nationally and internationally.
