The Palestinian non-governmental organization condemned in a statement the Israeli escalation of violence, which included killings and the destruction of homes in the coastal enclave.
The text underscored that such incursions are a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement and have increased fear among the population.
Al Mezan affirmed that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not complied with most of the provisions of the recent agreement.
In this regard, it noted that Israel “is continuing to target Palestinians, obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid, and refusing to lift the crippling blockade of Gaza and open the border crossings.”
Palestinian sources informed that since the ceasefire took effect, the Army has killed more than 210 people in the territory and wounded nearly 600.
