Israel accused of violating agreement by limiting aid entry into Gaza

Ramallah, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) Israel has allowed less than a third of the aid stipulated as part of the agreed-upon ceasefire, in effect since October 10, to enter the Gaza Strip, Palestinian authorities in the territory denounced on Friday.

The Government Media Office in Gaza stated in a press release that from that date to November 6, some 4,453 trucks carrying vital goods, instead of the 15,600 that had been planned, entered the territory.

The figure included 31 vehicles transporting cooking gas and 84 carrying diesel, intended for the operation of bakeries, hospitals, electricity generators, and other essential sectors.

The Gaza media office noted that the average number of trucks entering daily is 171 instead of the agreed-upon 600.

It warned that the figure confirms that Israel continues to practice a policy of strangulation, starvation, humanitarian pressure, and political blackmail against more than two million Palestinians.

The Office emphasized that these limited amounts do not meet the minimum needs for food, medical care, and basic products for the population in the coastal enclave.
