The event, co-organized with the Spanish Ministry of Justice, brings together ministers, attorneys general, and senior judicial representatives from multiple countries under the theme “Shaping the Future of Justice: Building a System that Wins Trust and Delivers Shared Prosperity.”
According to an official report released here, Nel will participate in the Judicial Leaders Dialogue, the opening segment that will address the sector’s priority challenges and strengthen global cooperation.
The forum analyzes the crucial role of judicial systems for social stability and economic competitiveness in a context of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
The South African delegation will also participate in the Judicial Policy Forum and technical sessions, contributing to discussions on regulatory innovations and collaborative strategies for building efficient, citizen-centered judicial systems.
“South Africa remains committed to equal access to justice and strengthening democratic institutions through inclusive and transparent approaches,” Deputy Minister Nel stated before their departure.
