The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirmed in a statement that the initiative to execute Palestinian prisoners is an extension of the racist and criminal approach of the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Hamas considered the plan to be an “attempt to legitimize the mass murder” of the Palestinian people, who live under occupation.

Hamas underscored that the approval of this fascist and sadistic legislation demonstrates Israel’s determination to violate international laws and conventions.

The Islamic Jihad Movement, in turn, stated that the proposal is a dangerous escalation and accused Israeli authorities of promoting genocide and ethnic cleansing in the occupied territories.
