The union will cease work to demand increased funding for healthcare, at a time when the government’s proposed five-year budget is being debated in the Senate.
Other labor demands are included in the protest, which will be accompanied by a march, proceeding to the Miomy and ending at Plaza Independencia, in front of the Presidential Palace.
The FFSP participated on October 29 in the partial national strike called by the PIT-CNT labor federation under the slogan “The people first! It’s time to deliver! For jobs, wages, and a budget.”
The FFSP ceased work from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. that day, which was widely supported nationwide.
