In his account on the social network X, the Cuban Foreign Minister expressed his sorrow for the death of Lorin S. Robert, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Federated States of Micronesia.
Rodriguez, sent “heartfelt condolences to the government and people of that nation, especially his families and friends”.
Cuba and the Federated States of Micronesia established diplomatic relations in September 2015 within the framework of the 46th Meeting of the Pacific Islands Forum held in Papua New Guinea.
Micronesian FM Lorin S. Robert attended the official ceremony ten years ago.
