An investigation by the Interior Ministry (MININT), revealed in the TV special show “El Pueblo de Cuba Alza Su Voz Para Denunciar” (The People of Cuba Raise Their Voices to Denounce, broadcast on national television, asserted that El Toque is a cornerstone of the currency trafficking and tax evasion scheme in the Caribbean nation.

Former Cuban State Security agents, presented, by means of testimonies, practices, tactics, and operations described as subversive and terrorist, developed “through digital fronts.”

The report stated that El Toque specifically designs and disseminates communication strategies to provoke civil instability in Cuba, based on a strategy financed by subversive funds from the US administration.

The agents underscored that El Toque is leading the “light coup and fourth-generation warfare” being waged by the White House against the island nation, making it a “Trojan horse” of the US power.

Presented by Razones de Cuba (Reasons of Cuba), the television program also asserted that the Cuban people “identify and reject these covert operations aimed at destroying the Cuban Revolution.”

El Toque is described as an independent digital media outlet specializing in economic, legal, and public service information for the Cuban community, which Havana accuses of serving right-wing interests and using US taxpayer money.
