According to reports from Syrian state media, a detachment composed of five military vehicles, including three Humvees, a Hilux pickup truck, and a van, advanced toward the village of Al-Samdaniyah Al-Sharqiyah, then moved toward Tel Krum Jaba, in the northern countryside of the province.
This latest assault follows yesterday’s, when Israeli troops penetrated the area between Jabatha Al-Khashab and the villages of Ufania and Ain Al-Bayda, also in northern Quneitra.
In parallel, the occupying forces established a checkpoint on the road connecting Um Batna with Al-Ajraf in the southern sector, restricting the movement of civilians.
Syrian authorities denounced these actions as flagrant violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel, within the context of a sustained policy of incursions, arbitrary detentions, forced displacements, destruction of property, and devastation of agricultural land by Israel in the south of the country.
Damascus reiterated its demand for the complete withdrawal of occupying forces from Syrian territory and stressed that all measures imposed by Israel lack legal validity under international law.
It also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, halt the occupation practices, and ensure a return to full compliance with the 1974 Agreement.
