In the western provinces of Pinar del Rio, Mayabeque, and Havana, cloud cover will begin to increase in the late afternoon with showers and rain that will intensify during the evening, the report states.

Winds will increase tomorrow, while maximum temperatures will drop further on Friday.

According to the Insmet report, maximum temperatures will range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, higher inland. Overnight temperatures will range between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius.

Winds will be light and variable, becoming northeasterly along the northern coast with speeds between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour, and higher along the northwestern coast. There will be swells along both eastern coasts and slight swells along the rest of the coast, increasing along the northwestern coast from the afternoon onwards, the report adds.
