A correspondent for the Safa news agency reported helicopter fire on the southern city of Khan Younis, while fighter jets bombed the southern city of Rafah.
He also reported “intense gunfire from Israeli vehicles near the Morag axis,” located north of Rafah.
Safa noted that helicopters and aircraft opened fire on the Al-Bureij refugee camp.
It revealed that last night the Israeli military carried out a large-scale operation to demolish Palestinian structures in the coastal enclave, devastated after two years of aggression.
According to official figures, since the start of the truce, more than 350 Palestinians have been killed and over 900 wounded as a result of Israeli attacks on the territory.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank, the military launched a campaign of arrests this Sunday in the towns of Nablus, Al-Zawiya, Sair, Deir Abu Mashal, and Kafr Nima.
They also raided the city of Salfit, where they blocked one of its entrances with earth mounds and began searching homes and arresting residents, according to local media.
