As a result of the meetings, both parties agreed to move towards cooperative agreements in mineral exploration, agricultural development, logistics and tourism promotion.

Delegations also agreed to strengthen private sector articulation through the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Laos and the Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, to facilitate business alliances and technical exchanges.

The Indonesian ambassador to Laos, Grata Endah Werdaningtyas, highlighted that the program allowed for agreements for future joint projects, including technology exchange, as well as training for Lao workers.
