Russia: Position on peace agreement based on information gathered

Moscow, Dec 25 (Prensa Latina) Russia will formulate its position on the agreement for resolving the Ukrainian conflict based on information received from Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev following his trip to the United States, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated.

“Dmitriev has already had the opportunity to brief President Vladimir Putin on the results of his trip in detail.

Based on the information received by the head of State, we will formulate our further position and continue to maintain contact in the near future through the available channels,” Peskov explained.

Last week in Miami, talks were held between Dmitriev, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

A Ukrainian delegation was also in Miami during that time, including Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and Andriy Gnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian presidential advisor Yuri Ushakov stated on Sunday that there are currently no plans for a trilateral meeting between representatives of the United States, Russia, and Ukraine.
