The initiative involved women’s organizations from all 81 provinces of the country, in a symbolic action reflecting Turkish popular solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
In a statement released by the Anadolu Agency, the women affirmed that this action highlights what they described as “the honorable resistance of the Palestinian people,” using art as a tool for human expression and as a message of support that transcends borders.
Squares and streets in numerous Turkish cities were transformed into open-air art spaces, where murals were painted with symbols of freedom, olive branches, and childhood dreams, with the aim of keeping the Palestinian cause alive in the collective consciousness.
According to the organizers, the initiative seeks to transform social awareness of Palestine into permanent visual symbols in public spaces, reinforcing awareness and sustained solidarity.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll from the Israeli aggression that began in October 2023 has reached 71,657, with 171,399 wounded.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, Israel has committed hundreds of violations through bombings and gunfire, which, according to official figures, have left an additional 484 dead and 1,321 wounded since October 11 of that year.
