Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Dong stated that the results achieved show that both sides can find solutions through dialogue and negotiation under conditions of equality, respect, and mutual benefit.
In a press conference, he indicated that after the meeting between the presidents of both countries in Busan, South Korea, the two sides maintained continuous communication at various levels through the economic and trade consultation mechanism.
The official emphasized that this exchange helped to advance the implementation of the consensus reached by the heads of State and the results of the economic consultations held in Kuala Lumpur.
Yan affirmed that China is willing to continue this work with the United States based on mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.
The vice minister noted that Beijing seeks to properly manage differences, expand cooperation, and effectively utilize the bilateral consultation mechanism.
Relations between China and the United States, the world’s two largest economies, significantly influence global stability and development, in a context marked by geopolitical tensions, trade disputes, and regional conflicts.
