Hezbollah chief rejects US threats against Iran

Beirut, Jan 30 (Prensa Latina) Naim Qassem, Secretary General of the Lebanese Resistance Movement (Hezbollah), warned on Friday that the group will not remain silent in the face of any threat against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Addressing a massive solidarity rally, Qassem reiterated Hezbollah’s commitment to taking all necessary steps to confront any external aggression.

The leader of the armed group emphasized that any attack on the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, regardless of its origin, is a direct threat not only to Iran but also to the regional and global stability.

A harm to Imam Khamenei not only affects one person, but also impacts tens of millions of followers, which would have repercussions for peace worldwide, underscored Qassem, who also condemned the recent provocations directed against the Iranian leader.

The Hezbollah chief clarified in his address that his movement will not remain neutral in the face of a possible aggression by the United States or Israel against Iran.

Qassem affirmed that a war against Iran at this time could unleash chaos across the region, and we will not be the ones to facilitate such actions.
