The show promises surprises and performances by artists such as Pedrito Calvo, Alexander Abreu, Haila Maria Mompie, and Yasek Manzano, among other musicians.
We have prepared an unusual concert, and in such difficult times, the best I can give is my music, Fonseca told Prensa Latina.
The gala promises a connection to the seventh art, one of the attractions the award-winning Cuban musician likes to add to his performances.
Fonseca explained that thanks to technology, which allows us to create short films, we will include images and portraits, as there are masters who are no longer with us, and we want to pay tribute to them.
The concert “Arsenio Rodriguez, Mas Alla del Son,” led by Cuban pianist Dayramir Gonzalez, will also take place at Teatro Nacional de Cuba’s Covarrubias Hall.
More than 1,500 national and international artists are participating in this Jazz Plaza edition, one of the most significant events in promoting the genre in Cuba and the region.
