The organization warned in a statement that Washington has not been content with promoting coups and hybrid warfare in several regions globally, nor with imposing a criminal blockade on the Caribbean nation for more than six decades.
It is once again hiding behind the so-called “national security” to accuse Cuba of destabilizing the hemisphere, when the United States precisely generates global instability through unilateral sanctions, tariffs, and threats against those who do not submit to its interests.
The group affirms that the Caribbean island does not impose its model on anyone and only provides solidarity, cooperation, and health to the world through its medical brigades and its internationalist commitment.
US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on January 29, labeling Cuba a threat to national security and threatening to impose tariffs on oil exports to the island, in an attempt to stifle its people.
The internationalist group demanded an immediate end to the aggression against Cuba and the lifting of the US blockade.
