Three other civilians, including a child, died in a similar incident in the Qizan Rashwan area of ​​Khan Yunis, in the southern city.

According to Palestinian figures, since the ceasefire agreement began in October of last year, the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) have killed 529 people in the coastal enclave and wounded more than 1,460.

For its part, the IDF announced on Wednesday that one of its soldiers was seriously wounded in the Gaza Strip by gunfire from Israeli militants.

The online version of the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper specified that the soldier, from the Alexandroni Brigade, was hit early this morning during a raid in the eastern part of Gaza City.

Since the beginning of the current wave of violence in October 2023, 6,417 Israeli soldiers have been wounded. Currently, five of them are hospitalized in serious condition, the newspaper revealed.
