According to official sources, Air Traffic Control (ATC) has been instructed to maintain heightened surveillance, particularly over air corridors adjacent to Iranian and Afghan airspace.
Pakistani airlines have also been advised to avoid using Iranian airspace until further notice as a precautionary measure.
The directives were issued after learning of the attack carried out by Israeli and US forces, which caused multiple explosions in Tehran and other locations.
Pakistani authorities stated that the heightened airspace surveillance is a precautionary measure intended to ensure the safety of civil aviation operations amid the rapidly evolving regional security situation.
Following the Israeli and US attack, Tehran launched several rounds of missiles at Tel Aviv and other Israeli territories, as well as at US bases in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
