Russia and Kenya are analyzing new nuclear energy projects

Moscow, March 16 (Prensa Latina) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met today in Moscow with his Kenyan counterpart, Musalia Mudavadi, to discuss the development of joint projects in nuclear energy and space technology.

In their dialogue, Lavrov noted that Russia and Kenya support the development of practical bilateral projects, highlighting energy, including nuclear power, telecommunications, agriculture, geological exploration and mining, as well as high technology, including space exploration, as promising areas, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry website.

The head of diplomacy for the Slavic nation also raised with Mudavadi the issue of concluding an agreement on labor migration between Russia and Kenya.

Responding to questions from the press at the Russian Foreign Ministry after his meeting with Mudavadi, Lavrov stated that all Kenyan citizens, like those of other countries, are participating in the special military operation voluntarily and in full compliance with Russian law.

He also emphasized that the same law allows for early termination of the contract, and that any inquiries received from the Kenyan Embassy in Moscow regarding the participation of its citizens in the special operation are immediately forwarded to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
