In a statement published this Wednesday on its official Telegram channel, the military body reported that as a result of their active and decisive actions, the Western Troop Group units captured the town of Alexandrovka, in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The ministry estimated that the Ukrainian Army suffered approximately 1,175 casualties in the area of ​​the special military operation in the last 24 hours.

The Central and Eastern Troop Groups each inflicted approximately 275 casualties; the Northern Group, up to 255; the Western Group, up to 180; and the Southern Group, more than 135, and the Dnieper group, up to 55.

Likewise, the Ukrainian Army lost 21 armored vehicles (including two M113s and two HMMWVs), 87 cars, 11 artillery pieces (including a 122mm Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer), as well as eight electronic warfare stations, a radar, an unmanned surface vessel, and 17 military depots.

For its part, Russian air defenses shot down three guided bombs and 316 drones.
