Huawei boosts leadership in cloud services for Latin America

Shenzhen, China, Mar 20 (Prensa Latina) Chinese tech giant Huawei is currently boosting cooperation with countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, especially regarding cloud services, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

More than 150 representatives from the region participated in the COMPASS 2026 event, held in this city and organized by Huawei Cloud.

Peter Zhou, CEO of Huawei Cloud, affirmed that Latin America is a key pillar in the company’s global strategy.

The executive indicated that the company will refocus its strategy by 2026 on continuous innovation, sector expansion, and strengthening its security infrastructure.

He stated that Huawei Cloud will expand its artificial intelligence computing services in Brazil and Mexico as part of this plan.

COMPASS is Huawei Cloud’s annual platform for promoting technological cooperation and reflects the progress of digital transformation in Latin America, in a context of increasing adoption of cloud services and artificial intelligence solutions in the region.
