The war has left 22 dead and more than 5,000 wounded in Israel

Tel Aviv, March 28 (Prensa Latina) At least 22 people have died in Israel and more than 5,000 have been wounded as a result of the war against Iran, which began on February 28, a think tank in the Jewish state reported.

According to data from the Israel Institute for National Security Studies, more than 4,000 citizens have lost their homes, some 1,500 of them in Tel Aviv, followed by Dimona (975), Arad (600), and Beersheba (505).

The institute noted that, since the beginning of the conflict, Iran has launched more than 550 missiles and 765 drones against the Levantine country.

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the number of wounded since the start of the war has risen to 5,492.

A week ago, the business daily Calcalist revealed that Israel is spending an average of 1.6 billion shekels (US$515 million) per day on the conflict.

According to the newspaper, which cited military sources, the first few days were the most expensive due to the heavy use of missiles and bombs launched against the Muslim nation.
