The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in support of the African nation’s development priorities, the local State Ministry informed.
Ahmed, leading the Ethiopian delegation, highlighted the country’s ongoing economic reform and development agenda and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to advance sustainable growth and structural transformation.
Junfeng, in turn, reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Ethiopia through expanded cooperation, including concessional financing, technical assistance, and capacity-building initiatives.
Both sides also reviewed ongoing projects and explored opportunities for further collaboration in key sectors, such as railway infrastructure, agriculture, digital development, industry, and healthcare.
The consultation concluded with a shared commitment to deepen institutional engagement and ensure closer coordination in translating mutual priorities into concrete outcomes, reinforcing the comprehensive Ethiopia-China partnership.
