Between December 2025 and February 2026, the country registered sustained growth in tourism activity, consolidating the sector as one of the main exporters of services, Mintur said.
Revenue grew by three percent compared to the 2024-2025 season.
The report also highlighted the increase in average spending per visitor, which reached $713, an 11.9 percent increase.
The stay also showed positive growth, with an average of eight nights and an 8.7 percent increase.
During the last summer season, 1,301,913 tourists visited Uruguay, according to the Mintur report.
