Israelis dissatisfied with outcome of war against Iran

Tel Aviv, April 10 (Prensa Latina) The 63% of Israelis expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of the aggression against Iran, a poll published by the Maariv newspaper revealed.

According to the survey, only 32% of those interviewed said they were satisfied, while five percent declined to answer.

The poll highlighted that only 22% believed the United States and Israel won the conflict, 46% said they did not, and 32% considered it too early to judge.

Regarding the elections, Maariv notes that the opposition maintains its lead over the alliance headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The poll pointed out that Jewish parties opposed to Netanyahu would win 61 of the 120 seats in the Knesset (Parliament). The parties currently in government would fall to 49 seats, while the remaining 10 would be won by the Islamist group Raam and an Arab-left alliance comprised of the Hadash and Taal parties.

The newspaper noted that, in the oposition camp, the party founded by former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett would reach 24 seats, Yashar another 13, the Democrats eight, Yisrael Beiteinu nine, and Yesh Atid seven.

Meanwhile, in the government camp, Netanyahu’s Likud would remain the largest party in the country, retaining 25 seats, but its allies would lose ground.
