“The Dagestan Regional Department, together with local offices and with the support of the RRC and the authorities, organized a collection of humanitarian aid,” Savchuk told the TASS news agency.
“Five tons of humanitarian aid were collected for Iran and sent to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, which receives humanitarian aid in the country,” the official stated.
Savchuk specified that the aid consisted of medical supplies and basic necessities.
At the end of March, the Iranian Red Crescent reported that the number of civilian facilities damaged by the US and Israeli aggression exceeded 105,000.
