“There is a decrease in US activity in supporting the Kiev regime, in a context of increased aid to Ukraine from the EU, which is becoming increasingly involved in the conflict, financing it and supplying weapons” to Ukraine, Belousov said at a meeting of defense ministers from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the Kyrgyz capital.
At the same time, the head of the Defense Ministry noted that Russia is closely monitoring the production and supply chains of Western weapons to Ukraine and deliberately disseminating this information.
According to Belousov, shipments from Europe are contributing to “a drastic escalation of the political and military situation” on the continent and could have unforeseen consequences.
On April 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a list of companies based in several European countries that operate as subsidiaries of Ukrainian companies and are involved in the production of drones for Kiev.
According to the same source, by promoting the manufacture of drones for Ukraine on their own territory, European leaders “are increasingly and rapidly dragging these countries toward a war with Russia.”
