Fars news agency quoted a statement from Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, who asserted that the Iranian armed forces “did not carry out any missile or drone attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the last few days.”

The statement added that, had any operation taken place, “it would have been announced clearly and officially,” and noted that the report issued by the Emirati Defense Ministry “does not reflect the truth.”

Iran also warned that any attack launched on its territory from the UAE “will be met with a harsh response.”

Emirati authorities stated that since the start of hostilities on February 28, 578 missiles and 2,260 drones have been intercepted, resulting in 13 deaths and 227 injuries.
