Russia and Ukraine exchange bodies of soldiers killed in action

Moscow, May 15 (Prensa Latina) Russia handed over 526 bodies of soldiers killed in action to Ukraine and received 41 bodies of Russian military personnel, the Eurasian nation's Ministry of Defense reported.

Previously, the same military body informed the press that a prisoner of war exchange had taken place with Ukraine, on a 205-for-205 basis.

Russia accepted on May 8 the initiative of US President Donald Trump to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine from May 9 to 11 and to carry out a prisoner exchange with Kiev on a 1,000-for-1,000 basis.
