We firmly reject the false accusations against our comrade Raul Castro. The real criminals and delinquents are Trump and his gang, says a statement from the political group.

  We cannot expect anything from right-wing and opportunistic governments other than actions and pronouncements aligned with the United States and against Cuba. We also hold them responsible for the costs of the measures against the brotherly people of Cuba and their government, it adds.

  We are in times when this victory must be defended; therefore, we call on the peoples of Latin America to express our unconditional support for the Revolution. For the right to self-determination of peoples, for national liberation, and for socialism, it urges.

  It emphasizes that these are times when imperialist barbarity and impunity have reached very high levels, as evidenced by the attacks on Palestine, Venezuela, and Iran “which have cost thousands of innocent lives.”

  It notes that in recent weeks the U.S. government has increased the measures of the economic blockade against Cuba, as well as threatened to “take the island” under its control.

  The blockade, intensified to the maximum in these times, has very serious consequences for the Cuban people, who heroically resist and reaffirm their will to defend their revolution, the text emphasizes.
