The official Wafa news agency reported that the military arrested a young man this morning in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
Two other people were detained in the suburb of Shweika, located in the northern city of Tulkarm, where uniformed personnel raided numerous homes.
Six citizens were also arrested in the southern governorate of Hebron, following raids on the towns of Yatta and As-Samu, as well as the Al-Arroub refugee camp, the news outlet specified.
Wafa reported that Israeli forces raided several homes in the Al-Salaymeh neighborhood of Hebron, where they mistreated residents and assaulted women and children.
The source noted that early this morning they also captured four Palestinians after raiding the villages of Tell, Burqa, and Ammuriya in the northern West Bank. On Thursday, the army arrested a young man in the town of Tubas and six more in the city of Qalqilya.
According to official Palestinian figures, Israel has detained more than 23,000 people in the West Bank since the beginning of the current cycle of regional violence on October 7, 2023.
