These protests will be part of an international campaign of demonstrations outside the US diplomatic missions, taking place from May 30 to June 7.
The State Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MESC), bringing together 69 solidarity associations and groups throughout Spain, already organized a day of support for Cuba on in Bilbao.
A vigil for Cuba, under the slogan “For the right to life, for sovereignty, and for peace,” will be held in the nearby area of the US Embassy in Madrid.
Meanwhile, the Jose Marti Valencian Association of Friendship with Cuba, the Rumbo a Cuba (Heading for Cuba) flotilla, and the Hugo Chavez Bolivarian Platform of the Valencian Country have also called for a rally on June 5 to denounce the energy blockade and the policy of economic and military aggression against Cuba.
