According to the ANI news agency, during the celebration of Russian Federation Day in New Delhi, Foreign Minister Vikram Misri noted that it will also be an important occasion to further strengthen the India-Russia partnership.
Misri highlighted the strong ties between the two countries, describing them as a special bond that has stood the test of time and stating that the high level of bilateral exchanges reflects the strength of their relationship.
He pointed out that the continued strengthening of ties between the two nations is aimed at boowting dialogue, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and addressing shared global challenges.
The senior diplomat referred to the impact of the growing partnership between India and Russia on a more multipolar and representative international order amidst ongoing global conflicts and economic uncertainties.
Regarding the upcoming BRICS Leaders’ Summit, he noted that India and Russia also share a commitment to a multipolar, inclusive, and more representative international order.
In this regard, Misri deeply appreciated Russia’s strong support for strengthening cooperation across a wide range of sectors and for advancing the BRICS agenda.
