The films are *El Acoso* (1966) by Humberto Solás, *El sueno del Pongo* (1970) by Santiago Álvarez, and *Siete muertes a plazo fijo* (1950) by Manolo Alonso; all three productions were restored by the Cineteca di Bologna, the entity organizing the event.

Audiences in this northern Italian city will be able to enjoy Cuban cinema on the 27th at the Europa cinema.

This celebration of cinema draws over 140,000 spectators over nine days and screens more than 540 restored films, Triana noted.

In previous editions, Cuba and the Cineteca di Bologna premiered the restored version of the classic *Memorias del subdesarrollo* (1968) by renowned Cuban filmmaker Tomás Gutierrez Alea, as well as several other titles from his filmography.

The festival offers an extensive program of screenings throughout the city and open-air evening sessions in Piazza Maggiore and other iconic locations, according to the event’s official website.

Described as a paradise for cinephiles, the gathering includes a showcase of restored films that will continue into July.
