According to the Gulf News, an aircraft from the Iranian airline Fly Sepehran landed in Dubai from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport, according to data from the specialized portal Flightradar24.

Dubai airport authorities did not comment on the operation, nor did the airline release an official statement.

Fly Sepehran announced that it will operate flights intermittently on this route, with new connections planned for the coming days.

Air traffic between the United Arab Emirates and Iran had been virtually suspended since the beginning of the regional escalation, until the recent announcement of a temporary ceasefire and the subsequent signing of a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran.

The resumption of flights comes after Iran announced the restoration of trade with the United Arab Emirates through the port of Jebel Ali and anticipated the gradual normalization of air connections between the two countries.

The announcement also coincided with a telephone conversation between the Emirati Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Zayed, and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, who discussed the evolving regional situation and emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy to resolve differences.
