In his X account, Diaz-Canel sent his congratulations on the 105th anniversary of the CCP by pointing out that ” their general secretary Xi Jinping, the more than 100 million militants and their noble people, receive a fraternal congratulation from the Cuban communists.”

He later stressed, “we wish the #PCCh to continue adding successes in socialist development.”

The Communist Party of China, founded on July 1, 1921, has been an ally of Cuba in its struggle against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States.

On multiple occasions, the Chinese government has expressed its firm support for the Cuban Revolution and its rejection of unilateral coercive measures against the island.
