“I congratulate you on the 80th anniversary of the Kaliningrad region,” reads the president’s telegram, published on the Kremlin’s website.
Putin noted that Russia’s westernmost region is renowned for its history, the diversity and beauty of its natural landscapes, as well as the hard work, generosity, and hospitality of its inhabitants.
Kaliningrad region has great potential and a wide range of opportunities to attract significant investment. Large-scale projects are being successfully implemented in the industrial, agricultural, transport, construction, infrastructure, tourism, and hospitality sectors, the head of state highlighted in his message.
“And, of course, I would like to emphasize that, alongside the opening of modern factories and high-tech production facilities, constant attention is paid to preserving the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the ‘Amber Region’ and to implementing important educational, awareness-raising, and creative initiatives,” he added.
Putin also noted that the renowned Museum of the World Ocean was recently designated a cultural heritage site of special value to the peoples of the Russian Federation.
“I am confident that your energy, determination, and sincere love for your homeland will continue to help you achieve your goals,” the president concluded. He also wished the region’s residents health, prosperity, and new achievements for the benefit of the Kaliningrad region and all of Russia.
