The Cuban diplomatic mission informed on X that the delegate reaffirmed the Cuban government’s willingness to continue actively contributing to the work of the Agency and noted that her country is a nation of peace.
The Cuban representative emphasized the growing rhetoric of threat against Cuba by the US administration and argued that the intensification of unilateral coercive measures against the Cuban people, including the energy embargo, was a serious concern.
Garcia also warned that a military aggression against the Caribbean nation would have incalculable consequences for both countries, the region, and international peace and security.
