Both officials highlighted the guidance of Kim Jong-un, the Supreme Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), and Chinese President Xi Jinping in this new stage of strategic unity and cooperation, which includes the economy, culture, and social welfare.
The meeting emphasized the importance of expanding strategic communication and tactical cooperation between the two parties, intensified inter-party exchanges, and consolidated the legal basis of the treaty signed in 1961.
Before the exchange, the high-level Chinese delegation on an official visit to the DPRK laid a wreath at the Friendship Monument.
KCNA reported that the delegation in every meeting with Korean leaders has shared a friendly atmosphere and that the intention is to usher in a new era of prosperity for the alliance between their nations.
