The Iranian armed forces affirmed in a statement that the unmanned aerial vehicles struck weapons depots and barracks at bases used by US military personnel in Kuwaiti territory.
The release detailed that Washington’s threats against Tehran will only strengthen the determination of the Iranian armed forces, as well as warned that any further aggression against the country will open another military front.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) noted that weapons depots and hangars belonging to the US Army at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait were attacked with drones as part of Operation Nasr 22.
The IRGC also asserted that several US soldiers were killed or wounded during the operation, although Washington has not yet issued any official comment.
The United States has launched, over the last two weeks, successive waves of attacks on targets inside Iran, while Tehran has responded with missiles and drones against military bases and facilities, as well as against targets it considers linked to Washington in several countries in the region.
