Also included are the foreign ministers of Rwanda, Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe; Cote d’Ivoire, Niale Kaba; and Cameroon, Lejeune Mbella.
Liberia’s Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration, Ibrahim Al-Bakri Nyei, and Gambia’s Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad, Lang Yabou, arrived in this capital.
The 49th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the AU will take place following the decision by the Bureau of the Assembly of the continental organization to postpone the 8th ministerial session of the Mid-Year Coordination Meeting, scheduled for late June in Egypt.
The AU headquarters will host the important meeting under the theme “Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063.”
