Fighters of the ‘South” group of forces entered Druzhkovka, in the RPD, as communicated this Wednesday by the military corps, and published images showing assault troops of the 1008 Regiment of Motorized Riflemen at the entrance of the village.

“While the Ukrainian propagandists continue to tell fairy tales like ‘Konstantinovka remains ours’ and ‘the Russians have not even approached,’ our units are already moving forward confidently”, reported the military portfolio press center.

Last week, the first assault units of the Russian Armed Forces entered the outskirts of Alekseevo-Druzhkovka, and on Tuesday, units of the Center group occupied the village of Krasny Kut to establish a bridgehead before the offensive.

The DPR chief, Denis Pushilin, reported that Ukrainian units had tried unsuccessfully to contain the advance of Russian forces, and noted that Russia is preparing for a blunt and devastating attack on the republic.

On the Max Channel of the Ministry of Defense it was also reported that two other settlements were taken in the last 24 hours. Northern group units have taken control of Novaya Sich, in the Ukrainian province of Sumi, and “Center” group units have occupied Svetloe in the DPR.

He also reported that mechanized and airborne brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as three territorial defense brigades, were defeated near Obody, Ivolzhanske, Sokhan, Osoyevka and Ugroedy in the Sumi region.

And in the Kharkiv region, three mechanized brigades, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and two territorial defense brigades were defeated near Vasilevka, Bugaevka, Shiroke, Novooleksandrivka and Sosnovy Bor, added the military corps.
